Brief Overview

Dubai Maritime City is a purpose-built waterfront community designed to combine key marine industries and services. With over 2.27 million square meters and a strategic location between Port Rashid and Dubai Dry Docks, it’s an emerging centre for all things Dubai. 

As of right now, DMC houses over 280+ registered businesses, 249 hectares of land, 66+ dry and wet berths for ship repair, and specialised maritime clusters designed all over the community. 

The master plan prioritises connectivity, functionality, and waterfront access. There are fully operational industrial zones, such as ship construction and maintenance areas, while also having fully-equipped residential spaces. 

To start, there’s the Industrial Precinct. This district is core maritime activities such as shipbuilding, dry docs, and marine engineering services. This zone supports heavy industrial operations and provides direct access to maritime infrastructure. 

The next one is the Maritime Centre, the commercial and administrative heart of DMC. Each area is designed to feature specific functions, including corporate office, maritime authorities, and professional service providers. 

For leisure and entertainment, head to the Marina District. This vibrant cluster features retail outlets, yacht clubs, dining venues, and other wellness amenities. 

The Dubai Maritime City Campus is designed to support maritime education, research, and training. It accommodates academic institutions, training centres, and certification bodies. 

Harbour Residences features premium waterfront housing within Dubai Maritime City. This cluster gives residents beautiful sea views, uninterrupted marina access, and close proximity to what DMC offers.
